The Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) is accepting input from breed clubs for a breed standard extension (BSE). This may be explained as explanatory notes to each section of the breed standard. As there is no English Springer Spaniel National Breed Council, ESS breed clubs have been given the opportunity to put forward suggestions to the ANKC for a BSE. The breed standard and the BSE will provide the basis of all education and lectures about the breed.
